SitePerfector vs NeuronWriter

NeuronWriter scores the page after you picked the keyword. SitePerfector picks the topic and shows you which sites hold it.

NeuronWriter is a well-built content optimizer with a happy user base, and if you already know which keywords to work on it does that job well. Every analysis starts from a keyword you type in. SitePerfector produces that keyword, by mapping your market into topics, laying your existing pages over the demand, and reading the live results to work out which topics you can win.

SitePerfector: the topics in one market, ordered by what is worth doing next

The topics in one market, in the order they are worth working through.

Who each one is for

NeuronWriter

Content optimizer

Freelancers, bloggers, affiliate site owners and small agencies. The product is built around content analyses and an editor, so it suits somebody who already has a keyword list and pages to write against it. Their users are content: Trustpilot shows 4.5 out of 5 across 68 reviews, 90 percent of them five star.

SitePerfector

Topic-first SEO

Site owners and small teams where one person is the whole team. You know your subject and you have a site, and the open question is which pages to build and in what order. SitePerfector answers that first, then gives you a blueprint for each page.

How the two approaches differ

Keyword tools hand you data and leave the decision to you. Topic-first SEO hands you a decision, with the reason and the competitors named. The method itself is explained in Topic-first SEO: what it is and why it works. This page only shows the contrast.

NeuronWriter

You start with

A keyword you supply. Every content analysis begins with one, and the term list, the score and the outline all follow from it.

You publish

A page written against the terms the current top results use, scored as you go. Then the next keyword on your list.

What you get

  • You bring the keyword. Every analysis starts from one you typed in.
  • The terms come from whoever ranks today. Whether your site can get there is still your call.
  • Your existing pages are not laid over market demand.
  • The next page to write comes off your own list.

SitePerfector

You start with

Your market, read from live search results and grouped into themes, topics and pages. Up to 1,500 keyword ideas get vetted and around a hundred earn a place.

You publish

The next page in the order, with a blueprint built from what the top results cover and the gap they leave. You write it, edit an AI draft, or hand the brief to a writer.

What you get

  • You get a topic tree: themes, topics and pages, in the order to build them.
  • Every topic carries a call and the names of the sites you would be competing against.
  • Your own pages sit on the map: covered, off the map, or already ranking without you knowing.
  • Each page you approve comes with a blueprint built from the live results.

Facts about NeuronWriter checked 3 Sep 2026 on their own pages. The sources are listed at the bottom of this page.

Three differences you can check

1.In NeuronWriter the keyword is where you start. In SitePerfector the keyword is what the map returns.

Open a content analysis in NeuronWriter and the first thing it asks for is a keyword. The terms, the score, the outline and the draft all follow from that one choice, and each analysis you run spends itself on a keyword you brought with you. Nothing in the product works out which keywords belong on that list for your business. SitePerfector starts a step earlier: it reads the live results for your market, vets up to 1,500 keyword ideas, and around a hundred earn a place in a topic tree with themes above them and pages below.

Start a new analysis in NeuronWriter and look at what it asks for first. Then open the topic tree in SitePerfector and read why a topic is on the list and which sites hold it today.

Check it yourself

2.The analysis tells you how the top results cover a subject. It does not tell you whether you can pass them.

A content analysis reads the pages currently ranking and hands you the terms they use. That tells you how to cover the subject once you are writing about it. It reports nothing about which sites hold those results or how far ahead of you they are. SitePerfector reads roughly 40,000 ranked positions per market map and returns a call on each topic: own it, build up to it, or leave it. The competing sites are named next to the call, so the reasoning is on the screen and you can disagree with it.

Run the free What Ranks Here on one term from your list and read which sites hold the top results. Then run the same term through a NeuronWriter analysis and compare what each one reports back.

3.NeuronWriter optimizes the page in front of you. SitePerfector maps your whole site against the market.

NeuronWriter connects to WordPress, Shopify and Google Search Console, and it works on the page you have open. What it does not do is lay your whole site over your market: what you cover, what serves no demand, and what you already rank for without knowing. SitePerfector crawls your site and does that, with no Search Console connection needed. The pages you do not have yet come out of the live results for your market rather than out of a keyword you supplied.

In NeuronWriter, open a project and look at what it holds: the analyses you have already run. In SitePerfector, open the coverage view and read the "off the map" column for your own domain.

When to choose NeuronWriter, and when to choose SitePerfector

Choose NeuronWriter if

  • You already have a keyword list and want a solid editor to write against the current top results.
  • You want internal link suggestions handled inside the editor while you write.
  • You publish to WordPress or Shopify and want the optimization step to sit next to publishing.
  • You want prompt monitoring in AI answers included with the plan you already use.

Choose SitePerfector if

  • You have a site and a subject, and the open question is which pages to build and in what order.
  • You want each recommendation to name the sites you would be competing against, so you can check it.
  • You want your existing pages laid over your market before you write another one.
  • You would rather have a call you can audit than a score to write towards.

Questions

Is SitePerfector a NeuronWriter alternative?

For deciding what to write, yes. For scoring a draft against the terms the top results use, no. NeuronWriter does that job and we do not, so some people run both: SitePerfector to pick the page, NeuronWriter to write it.

Does SitePerfector have a content score?

No. Each page on the plan gets a blueprint built from what the top results cover and the gap they leave. We left the score out on purpose.

Does SitePerfector track prompts in AI answers?

No, and we do not sell it as a separate product. AI answers cite the pages that rank, so the work that gets you cited is the work that gets you ranked. NeuronWriter includes prompt monitoring if you need that reporting.

Can I use both?

Yes. Decide the page in SitePerfector, then optimize and publish it in NeuronWriter. If your workflow already lives there, I would keep it and use SitePerfector for the decision.

Do I need Google Search Console to use SitePerfector?

No. SitePerfector crawls your site itself and reads the live results for your market, so a topic you never wrote about still shows up on the map. NeuronWriter's Search Console integration reports on the pages you already have.
