SitePerfector vs a stack of tools

Every tool in the stack does one step. You move the work between them, and none of them has read your site.

Every tool in a good stack is better at its one job than any all-in-one, so if your setup works, keeping it is a fair call. What the stack does not do is crawl your site, lay your pages over demand, or carry a decision from one step to the next. SitePerfector does those three things in one account.

Who each one is for

a stack of tools

Do it yourself

Operators who have been at this a while and hold strong opinions about individual tools. You get depth at every step: the best results scraper, the best clustering, the best database. Any piece swaps out without migrating anything else.

SitePerfector

Topic-first SEO

Owners and small teams who would rather do the whole job in one place. You get the market read, your site laid over it, the pages put in order, and a blueprint for each, with the context carried from step to step instead of retyped into a spreadsheet every month.

How the two approaches differ

Keyword tools hand you data and leave the decision to you. Topic-first SEO hands you a decision, with the reason and the competitors named. The method itself is explained in Topic-first SEO: what it is and why it works. This page only shows the contrast.

a stack of tools

You start with

A keyword export and a spreadsheet. You sort it, dedupe it, push what survives into a clustering tool, decide by eye which clusters are worth writing, and type that decision back into the sheet.

You publish

A page briefed in one tool, drafted in a second and tracked in a third, with you carrying the context between them each time.

What you get

  • You get depth at every step, and nothing to migrate when you swap a piece.
  • You get no tool that has crawled your site or laid your pages over demand.
  • You get a spreadsheet as the memory, and it holds only what you typed into it.
  • You get three or more meters, which run out on three different days of the month.

SitePerfector

You start with

Your whole market, read from live search results and grouped into themes, topics and pages. Up to 1,500 keyword ideas are vetted per map. Around a hundred earn a place, and you can see what was set aside.

You publish

The page worth writing next, with the sites you would be beating named and a blueprint built from what the top results cover and the gap they leave. Map, blueprint and tracking sit in one account.

What you get

  • You get the market, your site over it, the order and the blueprint in one account.
  • You get your pages on the map: covered, off the map, or ranking without you knowing.
  • You get a decision per topic, saved with what was ruled out and the reason.
  • You get the context carried from map to blueprint to draft with nothing retyped.

Backlink, PPC and keyword database

their strength

Yes

With a Semrush or Ahrefs seat in the stack.

No

No backlink or PPC data, so that tool stays in your stack if you need it.

Swap out any single piece without touching the rest

their strength

Yes

No lock-in anywhere, and cancelling one tool leaves the others working.

No

One system, so leaving means leaving all of it.

Lay your existing pages over demand

No

A results tool reads a results page and a writer writes, and neither crawls your site.

Yes

Covered, off the map, and ranking without you knowing, from a crawl of your site.

Decide what to write next, and show the reasoning

Partly

The tools output data, and you make the call by eye, across tabs.

A call per topic: own it, build up to it, or leave it, with the sites you would be beating named.

Carry context from map to brief to draft

No

You retype it, usually through a spreadsheet, once a month.

Yes

The blueprint is built from the map and the live results for that topic, so nothing is re-entered.

Facts about a stack of tools checked 3 Sep 2026 on their own pages. The sources are listed at the bottom of this page.

Three differences you can check

1.No tool in the stack has crawled your site. SitePerfector puts your pages on the map before it recommends anything.

A results tool analyses a search results page. A clustering tool groups keywords. An AI writer produces a draft. A tracker records a position. None of them crawls what you have already published and lays it over real demand, which is the step that tells you what is covered, what serves no demand, and what you already rank for without knowing. That step needs a crawl of your own site, and no tool in the stack does one. SitePerfector crawls your site and puts every page on the map first, so the opening screen is your own position rather than a list of opportunities.

Open each tool in your stack and look for a screen that lists your own published pages. That list is what SitePerfector starts from.

2.You move the work between the tools. SitePerfector carries it from step to step.

The tools are fine, and moving the work between them is where the hours go. Every session starts with taking a list out of one tool and putting it into another, and each tool opens with no record of what you decided last month, so the spreadsheet becomes the memory and holds only what you typed into it. There is a thread on r/seogrowth titled "I feel stuck switching between SEO tools". SitePerfector carries the context: the map feeds the priority list, the priority list feeds the blueprint, and the blueprint feeds the draft.

Open your last content brief and trace it back to the keyword list it came from. Note how many tools and files that takes.

3.Three metered tools have three separate limits. SitePerfector is one plan with one set of limits.

Most of the stack is metered, and the meters do not agree. thruuu charges credits: one per results analysis, five per brief, fifty per thousand keywords clustered. Koala meters both words and credits. Frase meters articles and audit pages, with pay-as-you-go overages at $5 per extra article on Professional. All three are on the vendors' own pricing pages, checked 3 September 2026. Three metered tools give you three ceilings, and they are not reached on the same day. SitePerfector has one plan with one set of limits, and the map is built once rather than paid for per lookup.

Open the pricing pages for thruuu, Koala and Frase and read the credit, word and article limits on the tier you are on.

When to choose the stack, and when to choose SitePerfector

Choose a stack of tools if

  • Your setup already works and the habit is real, so the switching cost is real too.
  • You want the deepest tool for one specific job and will do the moving between tools yourself.
  • You need backlink or PPC data, which SitePerfector does not have and is not building.
  • You run enough sites that no single system covers all of them.

Choose SitePerfector if

  • You want the market read, your site laid over it, and the order decided in one place.
  • You are tired of re-deciding in month three what you already worked out in month one.
  • You want every recommendation to name the sites you would be beating, so you can check it.
  • You would rather watch one plan than four separate limits.

Questions

Is SitePerfector an alternative to a stack of tools?

It replaces the middle of the stack: keyword sorting, clustering, deciding what is worth writing, and the brief for each page. It does not replace the database at the top. If your stack exists mainly to give you backlink and PPC data, keep it.

Which tool would SitePerfector actually replace?

Usually the clustering tool, the brief generator and the spreadsheet, because those three exist to get you to a decision and SitePerfector produces the decision directly. Rank tracking is built in. Writing is built in too, one approved page at a time, from the blueprint.

Do I still need Semrush or Ahrefs?

If you work on backlinks or run paid search, yes. We have no backlink data and no PPC data. Plenty of people keep one database seat and use it for that job only.

Can I use both?

Yes, and many people do. Decide the topic and the order here, then take the blueprint into whichever writing or optimizing tool you already like. Nothing on either side stops you.
